I feel rather sorry for ...
Kate Middleton. She's in the news today because of the increasing press intrusion into her life. It showed the scene as she left home this morning. There were about twenty photographers buzzing around her. It made me think, she really must like Prince William to put up with that. She's just his girlfriend. We have no right to intrude into her life like this. Already there is increasing speculation about an engagement. Their relationship should be allowed to progress at it's own speed.
I know Princes William and Harry have a priviledged life but they also do have a life of duty, responsibility and minimal privacy ahead of them. It must be very frustrating to have someone you love treated in this way. I certainly wouldn't want their life for all the estates, jewels and trusts funds.
I really hope that the news agencies all refuse to buy paparazzi photos of Kate when she isn't at official royal events.

Good post Rhea.
Yes, I read how the press are starting to hound her. It's ironical that she's in the press "because of the press intrusion into her life..." I read last week that she was photographed getting a parking ticket. And she's been criticised for wearing a red coat to Willimam's passing out parade, and for "dressing too Sloany" because she likes shirts and jeans. And for not working enough at her job at - is it Top Shop? Can't remember.
I feel sorry for her because, unlike William and Harry, she's a commoner. I also believe that the nosy intrusive press are never going to leave her alone, will continue to hound her and make her life miserable (just like they did to Diana, only I think she made the most of it) and that as soon as Kate hooked up with Wills, her life as she knew it was over. Sadly, I think it will get even worse. God help her.
Oh and the news agencies not buying the paparazzi photos? Wouldn't hold my breath on that one. They are probably bidding for them as we speak...
What britgirl said. I despair of our media.
Yes, I'd like to think that they'd show some restraint but I'm not holding my breath either.
Rhea,
Sadly the truth of the matter is; if the public stopped watching the news / reading 'Celebrity' magazines like 'Hello' and 'Heat', then the papparazzi would be a lot less intrusive.
Knowing what I know about people in general, this is not likely to happen very soon.
Regards
Bill
Very true, Bill ... but I'm still holding onto a glimmer of hope for humanity :o)
